Personal Care Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our care team as Personal Care Assistants. Our focus is on providing high-quality, personalized support to older adults in their daily living activities.

This role involves assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other essential tasks to maintain their independence and dignity.

You will be working closely with our senior clinical team to provide competent personal care, support, and assistance to all residents under their direction and guidance.

About the Role
  • Provide personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity with respect to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
  • Attend to meal delivery and refreshments as required.
  • Record observations on relevant assessment charts and documents any observed exceptions to the care plan in the progress notes; and reports such to the EN/RN.
  • Check residents daily menu requirements.
  • Attend to duties as allocated and or delegated by the RN/EN, including general ward duties.
Requirements
  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility for shift times/days.
