Job Overview:

  • Our organization requires a skilled Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to ensure the security accreditation requirements are met in line with our departmental policies and frameworks.
  • This role involves providing expert advice on security processes, policies, and frameworks, as well as writing and supporting documentation on quality security accreditation.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical staff to achieve desired outcomes and facilitate discussions to reach agreeable solutions.

Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a cyber security compliance specialist, with extensive knowledge of ISM, PSPF, and IRAP processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within large, complex ICT environments, particularly those utilizing Microsoft technologies.
  • Extensive understanding of Australian Government Policies and frameworks relating to Government Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to security accreditation requirements as per our department's Authority to Operate Framework (AtOF).
  • Provide security advice aligned with our organization's policies, processes, and security frameworks.
  • Develop and provide written guidance and supporting documentation for quality security accreditation.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to meet project objectives.
  • Negotiate and facilitate discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Expert-level knowledge of security protocols and regulations.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
