Job Overview:
- Our organization requires a skilled Cyber Security Compliance Specialist to ensure the security accreditation requirements are met in line with our departmental policies and frameworks.
- This role involves providing expert advice on security processes, policies, and frameworks, as well as writing and supporting documentation on quality security accreditation.
- The successful candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical staff to achieve desired outcomes and facilitate discussions to reach agreeable solutions.
Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a cyber security compliance specialist, with extensive knowledge of ISM, PSPF, and IRAP processes.
- Ability to communicate complex issues to diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within large, complex ICT environments, particularly those utilizing Microsoft technologies.
- Extensive understanding of Australian Government Policies and frameworks relating to Government Services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to security accreditation requirements as per our department's Authority to Operate Framework (AtOF).
- Provide security advice aligned with our organization's policies, processes, and security frameworks.
- Develop and provide written guidance and supporting documentation for quality security accreditation.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff to meet project objectives.
- Negotiate and facilitate discussions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Expert-level knowledge of security protocols and regulations.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
