Job Title: Kitchen Assistant

This is a vital role where you will support the well-being of elderly residents by providing them with nutritious meals.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, preparing food products according to standard operating procedures, completing cleaning tasks as directed, advising on catering issues and attending team meetings as required.

Requirements:

  • Able to align to our organization's values.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Possession of passion for delivering great service and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of HACCP/food safety programs.
  • Certification in Cookery or Hospitality (Desirable but not essential).
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg.
  • Will to undergo a pre-employment medical check and pass a National Police Check.
  • Ability to pass an NDIS check.
