Senior Civil Engineer

The water industry is at a critical juncture. As the frequency and intensity of floods, droughts, and storms increase, it must build resilience and lead from the front.

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to play a pivotal part in the technical delivery of water and wastewater system solutions.

  • Lead and contribute to the civil design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment plant civil works.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation across concept, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
  • Provide input across the full project lifecycle – from planning and feasibility to detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • RPEQ status or ability to obtain.
  • 8+ years' experience in water and wastewater infrastructure design, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering hydraulic and transient designs for treatment plants (water and wastewater) and linear infrastructure.
  • Strong technical and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and client-focused approach.
