We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our Sales & Events team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and driving conversions, prospecting new business, and maintaining and growing our existing key accounts across venues in the Fresh NSW portfolio and in an offsite capacity.

Your sales approach should focus on building strong relationships with clients and representing The Fresh Collective at networking events, client entertaining, and industry exhibitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • A strong background in sales and negotiation with a focus on prospecting and qualifying new business.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships through effective communication and networking.
  • Prepare and follow up on proposals and contract documents to ensure timely correspondence.
  • Host sales presentations, site inspections, and client meetings.
  • Maintain database and sales activities within the CRM system.
  • Provide sales reports on outbound sales activities and lead handovers.
  • Support the planning and execution of the sales strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Prior experience selling events in venues and offsite events.

About You

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a premium venue, catering, or hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting KPIs and achieving successful outcomes in an event sales environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Established relationships with key suppliers.
  • An outgoing personality with the ability to sell, negotiate, and influence successful outcomes.
  • A strong customer service focus and passion for hospitality.
  • Team-oriented with a positive and happy demeanour.
  • A tertiary qualification in hospitality, events, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • This role primarily operates Monday to Friday, but may require occasional flexibility.
  • Collaborating with a fun and energetic team of experienced sales and event managers.
