Job Title: Disability Support Worker

The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in providing care for a male with a spinal cord injury. The successful applicant will have high manual handling skills and be available for ongoing shifts.

Your primary role will be to provide one-on-one support within the home or out in the community, assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, community access, and other aspects of daily living.

If you possess a kind, patient, and empathetic nature, and are willing to provide exceptional care with a positive can-do attitude, then this role may be suitable for you.

Location:

NSW 2289

About You:

- Have at least 3 months' experience working with clients with physical disabilities

- Be proficient in hoist use and bowel therapy

- Possess strong time management skills and be a quick learner

- Demonstrate a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach to problem solving

- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills

- Live no further than 20-30 minutes from Fortitude Valley (preferably)

Benefits:

This is a part-time/casual position offering a competitive hourly rate of $31-$55 per hour
