Queensland Health delivers healthcare to over 5 million people – making high-quality, accessible care available across the state.
We are seeking experienced individuals to join our Hospital and Health Boards, governing the delivery of healthcare across 16 regions.
The successful candidates will have a vital leadership role in their local community, ensuring services align with priority health needs and are efficient, effective and responsive to community requirements.
As a member or Chair of one of our Hospital and Health Boards, you will be accountable for meeting financial, service delivery, and legislative requirements. You will need to demonstrate exceptional commercial acumen, strong governance expertise and the ability to drive performance, as well as confidence and connections to strengthen local community engagement and collaborative partnerships. Additionally, you will require leadership and strategic thinking, personal integrity, resilience and collaboration skills.
