Geologist Position

We are seeking an experienced geologist to join our team in the Western Australian Goldfields. The successful candidate will be responsible for drill rig supervision, digital logging of drill core, and communication with the Project Geologist.

The position will involve supervising and mentoring junior geologists and graduates, preparing completion reports for regulatory reporting. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in geology, with experience in drill rig supervision and knowledge of gold deposit geology.

You will also need to be proficient in digital logging and Microsoft Office, with a working knowledge of commonly used geology software. Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in geology (preferably with honours) and at least 1 year's minimum industry experience.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in geology (preferably with honours)

  • Experienced digital logging to databases

Working Conditions:

The position will be on an 8:6 roster with 12-hour days, with the option to work from Perth or reside in Kalgoorlie. We offer a collaborative and fun-loving work environment, with a manager who leads by example and gives autonomy to manage priorities.
