About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at Vero Insurance. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving business improvement and delivering high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document current and future state processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesize information accurately, completely, and coherently.
  • Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
  • Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks where applicable.
  • Create detailed user stories to support delivery.
  • Work closely with squad/project members, including delivery lead, Scrum Master, developers, tech leads, and business stakeholders to identify, capture, plan, and deliver the scope of work.
  • Work in an Agile continuous delivery environment and be responsible for analyzing and documenting requirements, facilitating workshops, and designing solution sessions.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience of business analysis within a large complex organization.
  • Some technical knowledge of databases, Splunk, ServiceNow, or Grasana preferred.
  • Ability to understand the technical impacts as the business problem is being presented.
  • Previous experience working on process improvements.
  • Willingness to learn and be a team-player with the confidence and communication skills to engage with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience with standard Agile tools, i.e., JIRA & Confluence.
