Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our Accounting Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, organization, and timely reporting of our financial operations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly billing, respond to accounts receivable queries, monitor receivables, and ensure correct general ledger bookings.
  • Handle daily cash transactions, reconcile bank accounts, and post foreign exchange differences.
  • Maintain ledgers, assist with month-end close, and prepare journal entries.
  • Administer expense claims, process payments, and handle queries.
  • Prepare audit requests and collaborate with auditors.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests, improve accounting processes, and support team projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a high-paced accounting role.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, Xero, G-Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Able to work autonomously.
