The Magistrates' Court of Victoria determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court providing quality services to the Victorian community.
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions. Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on strategic priorities while pursuing opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits broadly.
Supporting the Court Coordinator, you will perform a dual function of supporting listing and registry functions across all jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the establishment of a new specialist court in Geelong.
Required Skills & Qualifications- Sound judgement and discretion
- Ability to exercise effective communication with the Judiciary, court users and members of the multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of underlying factors contributing to offending behaviour for people experiencing mental illness and/or cognitive disability

Other AspectsAs a Listings Registrar, you will be required to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. This includes the Judiciary, court users and members of the Assessment and Referral Court multidisciplinary team.
