The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join our new global Digital Legal Delivery practice in Melbourne or Sydney. As a member of our team, you will contribute to excellent client service delivery and play a significant role in the team's ongoing success and continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Digital Real Estate Work: You will be responsible for handling digital real estate legal work, including volume leasing matters (commercial, industrial and retail), due diligence and transaction support.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with your manager and other team members to deliver high-quality work on complex deals, leveraging experience to map the intersections where people and tech deliver results.
  • Innovation: You will support the design and implementation of tech-driven improvements and processes for improved efficiencies, as well as matter management and reporting.
  • Technical Excellence: You will stay up-to-date with relevant areas of law and act as an emerging technical expert in those areas, supported by the firm's excellent knowledge and training resources.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in property/leasing law.
  • Current unrestricted practicing certificate.
  • Leasing experience, including drafting and negotiating leases and related documents.
  • Due diligence exercise experience in property and corporate transactions.
  • Solid technical legal skills, including drafting, negotiation and matter management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team.
