Role Overview

Our goal is to drive long-term growth and sustainability of South Australia's visitor economy through impactful tourism strategies and projects.

This position leads destination-wide initiatives, including major investments and iconic projects that attract visitors, enhance brand positioning, and create lasting economic benefit.

The successful candidate will contribute to fostering industry capability and innovation by working with operators, investors, government, and community partners to deliver market-ready products, infrastructure, and experiences.

We seek a strategic thinker who can develop and implement high-impact tourism strategies, manage budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement destination-wide strategic initiatives to drive long-term growth and sustainability
  • Lead iconic projects that attract domestic and international visitors and enhance brand positioning
  • Collaborate with operators, investors, government, and community partners to deliver market-ready products, infrastructure, and experiences
  • Contribute to fostering industry capability and innovation through knowledge sharing and best practice adoption
