Electrical Tradesperson Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Tradesperson to join our team at Moolarben Coal Operations. As a key member of the underground team, you will be responsible for supervising the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine
  • Monitoring electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition
  • Operating machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Underground coal mining experience
  • Qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 as a qualified electrical tradesman
  • A professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mine
  • Sound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
