Senior AI Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our 'Data & AI' team at DXC Technology Inc.

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing state-of-the-art AI solutions that drive business impact.

You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, design and implement scalable and efficient solutions, and drive innovation using AI & Generative AI technologies.

This role is part of the DXC 'Data & AI' business in Australia and can be based in either Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML solutions for customers
  • Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to understand needs and requirements
  • Introducing technology-based innovation with Artificial Intelligence to help drive client outcomes
Requirements and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
  • Extensive (6+ Years) hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions and models
  • Proven hands-on experience with Generative AI in a business context, including LLMs, Lang Chain, or similar tools & Retrieval Augmented Generation
  • Experience in solutioning AI applications and knowledge of machine learning frameworks like Tensor Flow or Py Torch
  • Programming skills (including Python) and experience with developer augmentation tools like Git Hub Copilot or Amazon Q Developer
  • Experience with AI & Data platforms and technologies from leading providers including Microsoft, AWS & Databricks
  • NVIDIA AI software experience desirable
  • Experience working on Legacy systems modernisation or migration projects
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential
