Job Overview

As an Smb Credit And Fraud Analyst, you will work as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the Smb Merchant Risk Team, performing credit and fraud checks for merchants during the Onboarding and Monitoring stages. You will also guide and mentor analysts on the team, work on Merchant Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures, and manage relationships with Sales, Operations and Legal teams.

Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Operation team to manage processes and case-level escalations and priorities, report directly to the Head of APAC for Merchant Risk Team, and align with risk teams based out of other markets to standardize best practices and corresponding processes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform credit and fraud checks for merchants during the Onboarding and Monitoring stages.
  • Guide and mentor analysts on the team.
  • Work on Merchant Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Manage relationships with Sales, Operations and Legal teams.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Credit and Fraud merchant risk management.
  • Ability to function in multiple queues covering a variety of tasks with a sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills combined with effective judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and make discretionary decisions based on research and judgment.
  • Desire to work as part of a global team and manage strong relationships within and outside the Risk organization.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.
