Accident & Health Underwriter Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with underwriting teams to manage relationships with broker partners and their portfolios of business.
  2. Underwrite A&H products, including Corporate Travel, Group Personal Accident, Voluntary Workers, and Journey.

  • Manage all aspects of our broker partners in close collaboration with the Southern Region Manager and Head of Corporate A&H Australia.
  • Apply expertise in A&H market experience to underwrite and manage Corporate Travel & Group Personal Accident Business.
  • Achieve agreed new business, renewal retention, and loss ratio targets.
  • Conduct and achieve broker visitation targets for the segment/panel.
  • Enhance market share through visitation and improved relationships with key internal/external producers.
Essential Qualifications
  1. Experience in underwriting Accident & Health business and managing a broker portfolio.
  2. Knowledge of Accident & Health products and underwriting processes.
  3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
