FTA Insurance is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Financial Lines Underwriter to join our team in our Melbourne office.
This full-time role involves underwriting financial lines products and providing exceptional service to our brokers.
What you'll be doing Underwrite a portfolio of financial lines insurance products, including Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber liability, and combined Prof Ind/GL.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing brokers and develop new brokers.
Stay up-to-date with market conditions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of underwriting strategies and processes.
Mentor and train junior underwriters.
What we're looking for3+ years' experience as a financial lines underwriter or broker in general insurance.
Strong technical underwriting skills and a deep understanding of financial lines products.
Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
