Housekeeping Linen Delivery Associate

Summary:

The Housekeeping Linen Delivery Associate is responsible for the efficient delivery and management of linens within a hotel or facility. This role involves transporting clean linens to various areas, collecting used linens for laundering, maintaining inventory, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clean linens to guest rooms, housekeeping closets, and other designated areas.
  • Gather used linens from guest rooms and other areas for laundering.
  • Maintain accurate records of linen inventory and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Support housekeeping staff by providing necessary linens and supplies promptly.
  • Inspect linens for damage or stains and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in linen storage areas.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure timely delivery and collection of linens.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy linen carts and stand/walk for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a hotel or facility setting, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment.
