About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to lead site operations for a large-scale construction project. As a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling site operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise site teams and work closely with departments to maintain project safety standards;
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve project goals and objectives;
  • Manage equipment and plant to ensure efficient operation;
  • Requisition project materials, equipment, and services;
  • Interpret design documentation and perform technical administration of contracts;
  • Enforce site safety at all times and develop a teamwork culture to promote effective integration with project teams;
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and construction progress forecasts.

Requirements

  • Trade or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering;
  • White Card;
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience working as Equipment and Plant Manager on large scale construction projects;
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including ability to supervise teams, negotiate, and problem-solve;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively;
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in using different software systems.
