Temporary Power Generation Solutions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Temporary Power Generation Solutions Manager to lead the coordination, execution, and management of temporary power generation rental solutions.

This hands-on leadership role ensures the safe and efficient delivery, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rental equipment in field environments such as construction sites, events, utility outages, or emergency deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in power generation, electrical distribution, or equipment rental services, with experience in leading field service operations or project management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of field delivery operations for power generation rental equipment, including generators, transformers, load banks, and associated electrical distribution gear.

Key responsibilities include leading, scheduling, and supporting a team of field technicians to ensure reliable and on-time installation and setup of power solutions, collaborating with sales, logistics, and service teams to plan and deliver tailored customer solutions, conducting site assessments, determining appropriate equipment sizing and configurations, and overseeing field installations.

The role also requires ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies during transportation, setup, and operation, managing inventory and readiness of equipment, tools, and vehicles required for field operations, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues onsite, providing guidance and escalation support, maintaining accurate records of installations, service activities, and customer interactions using service management software, and fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and customer satisfaction among field personnel.

To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of diesel and natural gas generators, load banks, HV transformers, and temporary power systems, ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, single-lines, and site plans, excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills, familiarity with QHSE and environmental regulations, proficiency with service scheduling and fleet management software, and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel frequently to customer sites.

Bonus points for experience in emergency response or rapid deployment power services, electrical trade certification, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, customer-first mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
