Customer Development Role Overview

A Customer Development Manager will work closely with Channel Managers and NAPA Branch Managers to build successful business relationships with target customers within their territory. With a sales focus, they will proactively find solutions to customer problems and be responsible for sales and gross margin performance of their territory.

  • Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building, and understanding customer needs
  • Responsible for sales and gross margin performance of your territory
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions
  • Meet sales targets
  • Develop new business opportunities (business development and account management)
  • Foster a culture of safety by prioritising safety and ensuring everyone goes home safely

The ideal candidate will be an engaging communicator with strong negotiating skills. They should have a solutions-focused approach, experience in account management or business development, and thrive in a results-driven environment.
