About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Infosys Singapore & Australia. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Machine Learning Models: Utilize Python for data analysis, model development, and implementation to create scalable, reliable, and efficient machine learning models.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Monitor and Maintain Models: Ensure performance and accuracy of deployed models over time.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously improve processes and models by staying updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and ML Ops.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python and its libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), experience with ML Ops tools and frameworks (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes), and solid understanding of deep learning architectures and frameworks.
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their machine learning services.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Domain Experience: Experience in the financial services, telco, or retail domains.
  • Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Natural Language Processing: Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision applications.
