Control Systems Expertise Sought

We seek an experienced control systems expert to join our team and lead automation/control system projects from concept to commissioning and support.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing robust control systems using Siemens, Beckhoff, Schneider, and other platforms.

  • Develop high-quality control systems for industrial applications
  • Diagnose and resolve complex control system issues with a focus on safety and innovation
  • Integrate industrial robots into high-tech automation environments

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in control systems design, programming, and implementation
  • Hands-on expertise in:
    • Siemens PLCs (S7-300, S7-1500, and 1700)
    • Safety system design (Siemens safety platforms, Beckhoff safe motion control)
    • ELMO motion controllers
    • Industrial robots: KUKA, Stäubli, Epson
    • Communication protocols: Profinet, OPC UA, Modbus, EtherCAT
  • EPICS experience desirable
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Zuken E3, or similar CAD software
  • Strong scripting and programming skills in Python/C++ within Linux environments
  • Familiarity with agile tools like Jira
  • Deep understanding of AS4024 and machinery safety standards
  • Professional Engineer registration (or eligibility) in Victoria
