Legal Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lawyer to provide expert legal advice and support our team on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Lawyer will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and commercial matters.
  • Assist with core areas of service including health law, litigation, privacy, research, reporting obligations, consent to treatment, aged care, family law and children's law issues.
  • Support the development of policies and procedures, corporate governance, regulatory issues, intellectual property and leases of real property, insurance, statutory interpretation, probity and procurement.

  • A confident and experienced senior lawyer able to work autonomously or with minimal support.
  • Friendly and approachable, committed to offering stakeholder-focussed, pragmatic legal advice.
  • Happy to work with rapidly changing and competing priorities.
  • Willing to upskill and develop in other areas of law arising in public health legal practice.
  • Open-minded about new approaches to in-house law.
  • Willing to support the development of junior team members.
