Kare's Early Years Support Services provides early education support to children with developmental delay and complex care needs.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team, supporting children with varying needs in their learning and development.

This role involves observing children, completing relevant records and participating in review meetings to plan and develop individual intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct observations to inform child-centred planning.
  • Collaborate with parents to support their child's progress.
  • Promote best practice in intellectual disability through partnerships with community groups or agencies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Studies/Childcare/Montessori etc. (must be a DCEDIY Early Years Recognised Qualification).
  • A full, clean driving license is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children who exhibit challenging behaviour is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for building trusting relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and manage administrative tasks effectively.
