Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced professional to play a crucial role in the development of a major energy project. The Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards throughout the project.

This project aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions through the implementation of a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver essential HSE services and advice to achieve project objectives while promoting a culture of Zero Harm.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance HSE knowledge and awareness among project teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective management of HSE processes.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
