Asset Wealth Management Opportunity
About the Role:
The Private Credit platform is a leading alternative investing platform with significant assets under management. The team originates, executes and manages investments across various credit strategies.
Associates work in small deal teams responsible for identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, structuring, executing, and monitoring investments. They are involved in transactions across industries and capital structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support investment ideas via engagement with relevant parties
- Engage in financial, legal, commercial, technical, and ESG due diligence to develop investment theses
- Participate in structuring, negotiating, and documenting investments
- Communicate and defend investment theses to internal stakeholders and committees
- Monitor existing investments, including serving as observer on company boards and maintaining dialogue with management teams and shareholders
- Build relationships with founders, sponsors, management teams, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of experience in finance, private equity, or leverage finance roles
- Strong academic record with degree in Finance, Economics, Management, Business Studies, or related discipline from a distinguished institution
- Quantitative, financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Possession for investing and analyzing businesses and industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible and creative mindset; ability to analyze industries and businesses
- Ability to self-direct, analyze, and evaluate independent judgments
- Ability to interact and build relationships with diverse people
