Account Associate, Private Wealth – Perpetual Asset Management

We are expanding in the US, UK, and Europe through brands like Barrow Hanley, Trillium, JO Hambro, Regnan, and TSW.We are seeking a commercially minded Account Associate to join our Sydney-based team, supporting distribution efforts across Private Wealth (NSW) and Queensland (from Sydney remotely).
Reporting to the Head of RI Distribution / State Manager NSW, you will work closely with Key Account Managers and play a key role in client engagement, sales support, and growth initiatives.
This role is ideal for someone early in their distribution career, eager to take ownership and grow within a respected investment firm.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, proactive support to Private Wealth (NSW), Broking, and QLD Key Account Managers, ensuring seamless client engagement.Respond to client and adviser queries professionally and accurately.Coordinate client appointments, seminars, roadshows, and engagement activities.Assist in planning and executing client functions, including logistics and follow-up.Maintain and update CRM systems with meeting notes, client segmentation, and activity tracking.Ensure data integrity to support reporting and decision-making.Monitor fund flows, product lists, and client activity to identify trends and opportunities.Support channel plans and growth initiatives aligned with distribution strategy.Contribute to state plans and KPI reporting.Provide market updates, including fund performance and macroeconomic insights.Prepare presentations and briefing materials for meetings and events.Collaborate with investment teams to share accurate product information.Analyze Perpetual's products and competitors to support sales positioning.Identify market gaps and opportunities to inform strategy and client discussions.Support ad hoc projects in distribution, marketing, and engagement.Coordinate events, including venue booking and stakeholder communication.About YouHolds a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (CIMA progress is a plus).
