Job Title: Audit Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Assurance Manager to deliver the Welding Capability Management plan.

This role will ensure that welding activities of suppliers meet contracted quality standards across current and future builds delivered under the Strategic Shipbuilding Agreement (SSA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document and implement processes for weld capability
  • Oversee subcontractor welding operations aligned to Program Quality plans
  • Maintain and manage process documentation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes and project-specific requirements
  • Provide regular reports on progress and quality performance
Requirements:
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Welding Engineering, Non-Destructive Testing or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a lead role in a welding operation
  • Detailed knowledge of welding techniques, materials and equipment
