Database Administration Expert

This role focuses on overseeing database technologies, particularly Microsoft SQL.
Main Responsibilities:- Guarantee high-quality database services through effective governance and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Manage service levels and provide governance for the performance of Managed Service Providers (MSPs), both operationally and strategically.
- Ensure adherence to a Build to Run framework, enabling efficient change management and smooth transitions into production.
- Foster knowledge management practices, including the shift left approach from L4-L0.
- Minimum of three years of experience in SQL database administration within a medium to large organization.
- Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure services is mandatory.
- Previous experience in managing MSPs/partners, including SLAs and contracts; outsourcing experience is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have dotted line management responsibilities for both onshore and offshore service providers. Strong collaboration skills and ability to build effective relationships are essential.
Technical expertise is required to influence priorities, initiatives, roadmaps, and improvements. This role plays a pivotal part in supporting the run function as our client transitions to their new delivery model.
