Advanced Clinical Leadership Role

The role of a Clinical Nurse Consultant is an exceptional opportunity for a registered nurse to take on advanced clinical leadership responsibilities within a multidisciplinary community mental health team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering specialized clinical services and providing authoritative advice on service delivery, clinical assessments, and care planning.

About The Role

This highly skilled position requires a nurse who possesses expert-level knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary mental health nursing. You will be accountable for autonomous practice and will work effectively and collaboratively with consumers, their families, and various internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver specialized clinical services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary community mental health team
  • Provide authoritative advice on service delivery, clinical assessments, and care planning across the continuum
  • Assess, guide, and contribute to the implementation of innovative and evidence-based clinical practices
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated expert level of clinical knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary mental health nursing
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within teams, with consumers and their families, and with various internal and external stakeholders
