Loader Operator

We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team at Asphaltech.

">

Main Responsibilities:

">

- Conduct pre-start checklists for loader, forklift, and bobcat before operation.
- Safely operate loader to transport and place materials daily.
- Operate forklift to unload bulk bags into correct material silos daily.
- Maintain yard housekeeping using bobcat sweeper daily.
- Organize incoming aggregate for daily production requirements.
- Ensure loader, forklift, and bobcat are free from maintenance or service issues.
- Keep equipment in a clean and tidy condition according to cleaning schedule.
- Ensure silos are loaded with the correct material to prevent contamination.
- Assist with other production duties, including operating asphalt plants, general labouring, and plant maintenance when required.

Qualifications and Experience:

">

- Hold a valid C-class driver's license.
- Possess a Construction Industry White Card or equivalent.
- Hold a Conduct Civil Construction Front End Loader Operations Certificate or equivalent.

- Proven experience as a qualified loader operator in a similar environment.
- Previous loader operator experience in asphalt production is highly regarded.

Skills:

- Ability to operate forklift and loader safely.
- Physically fit to perform all duties.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work early shifts, weekends, and night shifts.
