Bioproduction Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Bioproduction Specialist to join our team of scientists and entrepreneurs. Our mission is to address climate change through cutting-edge microbial technology.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and collaborative work environment where innovation and passion thrive.

  • Laboratory Operations: Ensure operational efficiency by providing technical support.
  • Small-Scale Production: Assist in all stages of small-scale production activities, including substrate preparation, fermentation, downstream processing, and formulation.
  • Experiment Support: Support bioproduction experiments, fermentation optimization, stability testing, library management, and assay optimization.
  • Protocol Adherence: Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for microbial enumeration and other laboratory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control & Data Management: Perform routine product sampling and quality control checks on products.
  • Supply Chain Support: Assist with inventory management and product preparation tasks.
  • Downstream Processing: Provide hands-on support for experiments aimed at optimizing downstream processing and product formulation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
  • Strong academic background and relevant undergraduate research or laboratory coursework.
  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques.
