Job Description:

A Technology Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and the technology team, ensuring that technology solutions align with organisational goals and user needs. The role involves gathering and analysing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, preferably in a technology-focused environment, is essential.
  • Gathering requirements, process mapping, and solution design are critical skills for this role.
  • The ability to analyse complex information and communicate it clearly is vital.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies is necessary.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is highly desirable.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as SQL and Tableau, is a plus.
  • Strong process and project management skills are required, with the ability to influence stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, is essential.
  • Experience using project planning and execution tools, including Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, and Miro, is required.
  • MS Suite experience, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is also necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to hit the ground running or 'learn on the fly', are critical.
