About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists.

Job Description:
  • Deliver personalized supports to families, empowering them to achieve their goals through evidence-informed best practice.
  • Utilize assessments, observations, and child development expertise to tailor support options for each child and family.
  • Cultivate coaching skills to empower families, caregivers, and professionals in building skills and confidence to support children in everyday life.
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring inclusion and participation in preferred settings and activities.
  • Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals within the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan application, implementation, and funding processes.

To excel in this role, you will possess:

Key Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood or Education.
  • Expert knowledge of child development and ability to identify developmental issues.
  • A proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
