Job Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team responsible for ensuring the effective operation, maintenance, and construction of water and sewer reticulation systems.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Oversee the execution of maintenance work on water supply and sewerage systems, ensuring compliance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Works Engineer to develop and implement effective water and sewer maintenance programs.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, meeting regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Advise and support the team in adhering to Council's Code of Conduct, policies, procedures, values, and behaviors.
