About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at Smiggle's Bendigo store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience, driving sales growth, and supporting the store team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all customers.
  • Maximise sales opportunities, achieving individual and store sales targets.
  • Process sales, handle cash, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Assist with stock management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention processes.
  • Participate in store meetings and in-store training to stay up-to-date with company initiatives and best practices.

A Day in the Life

As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a unique and engaging experience for our customers. You will work closely with the store team to achieve sales and customer service goals, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and processing sales.
