Care Support Specialist

About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Care Service Employee, where you will play a key role in delivering our award-winning model of care.
In this role, you will build strong, positive relationships with our residents and be responsible for the delivery of personal care and assistance to meet individual needs.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under limited supervision and in accordance with the resident's care plan.
- Ensure the privacy and dignity of residents is maintained at all times
- Assist in managing medication using medication compliance aids
- Recognise and respond to change in the condition of residents' health & well-being
- Complete simple wound dressings
- Implement continence programs
- Attend to routine checks, i.e. blood pressure, temperature, pulse, blood sugar
- Assist in managing residents with diabetes
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout each shift
