Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Courier. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a fleet of vehicles, and ensuring timely delivery of samples and supplies.

  • Routine courier runs, predominantly for the pickup and delivery of pathology samples including urgent specimens, blood products, test results and clinical waste
  • Liaising between Referring Medical Practitioners and the Medical Liaison Officer with regards to store orders
  • Processing, packing and delivery of supplies to Medical Practitioners as required
  • Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity
  • Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Work Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance processes
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A current full (unrestricted) driver licence
  • Previous experience delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Physical capability to be able to manage a minimum of 30 stops per day
  • Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 are a requirement of this role
  • Previous courier experience is considered highly advantageous
