Occupational Therapy Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to conduct client assessments, deliver tailored therapy, prescribe home modifications, and provide guidance to therapy assistants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to determine capabilities, goals, and support needs.
  • Develop and implement goal-oriented therapy plans to support independence.
  • Prescribe necessary home modifications, aids, and equipment as required.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to therapy assistants where needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA is essential.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle are also required.
  • Previous experience in aged care, community health, or rehabilitation settings is desirable but not necessary.
