About the Role

Linfox is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will provide support for various projects and tasks, including financial management, fleet administration, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and process weekly and monthly journals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and GRIR reconciliations, following up on any discrepancies.
  • Support the financial management of Vehicle Contract Management (VCM) arrangements and prepare reports associated with Repairs & Maintenance and Fleet Hire.
  • Assist with month-end support to Operations and Insurance Management Accountants.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets.
  • Experience using accounting/ERP software such as SAP.
  • Exposure to Fleet and/or Logistics industry advantageous but not essential.
