About the Role

Linfox is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will provide support for various projects and tasks, including financial management, fleet administration, and insurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Prepare and process weekly and monthly journals, balance sheet account reconciliations, and GRIR reconciliations.
  • Fleet Administration: Invoicing, journals, reconciliations, and analysis for the Travel and Aircraft businesses.
  • Insurance Management: Support the financial management of Vehicle Contract Management (VCM) arrangements and preparation of various reports associated with Repairs & Maintenance and Fleet Hire.
  • Month-End Support: Assist Operations and Insurance Management Accountants with month-end tasks.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • Accurate with an attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets.
  • Highly developed analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Experience using accounting/ERP software such as SAP.
  • Exposure to Fleet and/or Logistics industry advantageous but not essential.
