Job Opportunity

We are seeking a finance professional to join our team as we embark on an exciting period of growth. This 12-month contract will provide parental leave cover for a senior finance leader.


The role offers a unique chance to contribute to the finance, compliance and operational functions that underpin our work. You'll play a pivotal part in maintaining and strengthening these areas.


Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day finance operations, overseeing audit, tax and statutory compliance, and collaborating with external fund administrators.


As a member of our small, highly collaborative team, you'll be responsible for preparing and delivering regular financial reports, managing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and reporting standards.


You'll also support strategic decision-making and investor relations, contributing your financial expertise to a broad range of commercial and impact-focused initiatives.


About the Role
  • Manage general ledger and financial systems (Xero)
  • Collaborate with investors to ensure transparency and ethical investment practices
  • Support the preparation of Board and investor presentations

Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in corporate and fund accounting, preferably within asset and fund management
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and sound judgement
  • Proficiency in Xero and Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including stakeholder engagement
