Australian Unity is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Scheduling Professional to join our team as an Allocations Coordinator within our Home Health program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively scheduling our Care Workers who provide in-home services with our customers, utilizing their problem-solving skills to come up with solutions and deliver exceptional customer service.

This role is based at our Port Macquarie branch for a 12-month fixed-term contract and offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage effective Care Worker rosters to meet customer service requirements.
  • Plan, forecast, and manage workforce planning requirements, including roster changes, leave and absence planning, and new employee onboarding.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry for rostering and payroll purposes.
  • Deliver professional customer phone support to both customers and care workers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and employee records.

About You:

  • Experience in rostering and scheduling staff in a high-volume work environment is ideal, but not essential.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • You will have a proven ability to build strong work partnerships and gain buy-in.
  • Able to prioritize and handle competing tasks efficiently.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to take initiative to solve issues.
  • Values teamwork and tackles change with a positive outlook.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office Suite, with prior exposure to online rostering systems being a bonus.
  • Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with two doses (booster optional).

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
