The Opportunity

This permanent full-time role presents a unique opportunity to be part of our west coast expansion project, helping shape the engines division from its inception in Kewdale.

Due to an exciting new project, we are seeking experienced Engine Rebuild Fitters with Caterpillar C175-16 and 3500 series expertise.

Job Description

Main responsibilities include:

  • Disassembling and rebuilding Powertrain components and associated products efficiently and safely.
  • Inspecting components for reusability and repair.
  • Providing relevant information for customer cost estimation.
  • Ensuring special processes meet specifications.
  • Manual handling and maintaining safe work areas.
  • Maintaining IMS compliance and accurate documentation.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Mechanical Trade – Heavy Diesel Fitting qualification.
  • Caterpillar C175-16 and 3500 engine rebuild experience.
  • A High Risk Work License.
  • Four to eight years' experience in a similar role.
  • Diesel Engine rebuild, repair, and diagnostic skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Solid numerical skills and high accuracy.
  • Experience in Heavy Engineering, Mining Services, or Construction Industry.
