H-E Parts International Mining Solutions – Engines Division is a world-class provider of industrial component and diesel engine re-manufacturing services to the mining, stationary power, and oil and gas industries.

The Opportunity

We are expanding our engine & powertrain rebuild facilities to the west coast with a new purpose-built facility in Kewdale. As a key member of our team, you will have a unique opportunity to shape the west coast engines division from its inception.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble and rebuild powertrain components and associated products in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
  • Conduct component inspections for reusability and/or repair.
  • Provide relevant information for costing purposes.
  • Ensure special processes are carried out to specification.
  • Manual handling and housekeeping duties.
  • Ensure IMS compliance and documentation accuracy.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Mechanical Trade – Heavy Diesel Fitting.
  • Caterpillar C175-16 and 3500 engine rebuild experience.
  • High Risk Work License.
  • Four to eight years' experience in a similar role.
  • Diagnostic skills and experience in diesel engine rebuilds.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Solid grasp of numbers and high degree of accuracy.
  • Exposure to Heavy Engineering / Mining Services / Construction Industry.
