We are seeking a skilled Investigator to join our Investigations Team.
About the Opportunity:
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for an Investigator to contribute to our organisation's Legal, Governance and Regulatory Policy Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting investigations regarding breaches or contraventions of legislation.
- Providing timely responses to serious energy incidents and coordinating effective initial action.
- Contributing to a supportive work environment through mentoring and education programs.
- Providing advice to senior managers on trends, systemic issues and ongoing investigations.
- Contributing to strategic planning, policy development and internal guidance for investigations.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent qualifications in investigations.
- Experience conducting inquiries and comprehensive criminal investigations.
- Demonstrated incident response experience, including site attendance and management.
- Knowledge of the Victorian energy safety legislative framework.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team member.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
