The Role

We are seeking an experienced Venue Operations Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of our venue. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in staff management, event coordination, and customer service.

You will work closely with the venue management team to ensure that the venue operates efficiently and effectively. This may involve liaising with clients, managing budgets, and coordinating events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Oversee the operational aspects of events, including set up, staffing, and logistics
  • Manage staff to ensure they are meeting expectations and providing excellent customer service
  • Coordinate events to ensure they run smoothly and on time
  • Monitor finances to ensure the venue is operating within budget
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a venue operations manager or restaurant manager in a comparable environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative skills, preferably with bookings systems experience
  • Motivated to learn new skills and techniques
  • Smart and tidy appearance
  • Positive and willing to participate on a team and work with a winning attitude
  • Flexible, reliable, and responsive to a range of work situations
