Our company is seeking a medical professional with expertise in ultrasound technology to support the sales process.

Clinical Applications Specialist

This role involves highlighting product features and capabilities to customers, identifying their clinical requirements and delivering tailored solutions.

  • Post-graduate qualification in medical ultrasound.
  • 2+ years' experience as an accredited medical sonographer across a broad range of clinical areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A valid driver's license.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting the sales process by identifying customer needs and providing targeted solutions.
  2. Advising and assisting customers on the implementation of optimal clinical procedures and protocols to maximise equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
  3. Delivering clinical education sessions to customers, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  4. Developing in-depth knowledge of the local customer base and conducting regular site visits.
  5. Providing first and second-line support to customers, offering guidance and expertise when additional knowledge or experience is required.
  6. Working under general supervision and established processes, utilising independent judgment to navigate and adhere to operational policies, ensuring compliance and optimal performance.
  7. Applying analytical skills to resolve medium complexity requests efficiently, exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions that align with organisational goals and objectives.
  8. Participating in customer escalations, complaints, and feedback processes, following agreed-upon protocols to accurately capture information and manage associated actions.
  9. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and enhance product performance.
  10. Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products, clinical applications, and relevant industry standards to effectively support customers and provide informed recommendations.
  11. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and optimise customer satisfaction.
